  I found the dining experience at the Hilltop restaurant to be decent but not exceptional. The food and drink prices seemed steep for the quality/quantity.
  
  The bacon wrapped scallop appetizer we ordered was good but the fact they served them in an odd number (three instead of four) just seemed like a bit of excessive corner cutting. If need be charge another couple of bucks and serve four of them.
  
  The steak filet and shrimp dish I ordered was good but the chicken/pasta dish my wife ordered seemed to be mostly pasta with what appeared to be canned mushrooms. If it was a $10 dish you could expect that but for the $18-$25 average per plate they were charging it didn't seem worth the money. Cocktails and wine had the usual stiff restaurant markup with my whiskey sour coming in around 8$ and my wife's wine around $7.
  
  On the plus side our waiter was attentive and prompt so the service itself was good. Overall it was a decent experience but overpriced in my opinion.

  Very nice place, nicely priced, nice staff. I'm not a fancy person and this place has a nice home feeling to it with upscale service. Full bar and plenty of options for your event including a pool that has been turned into a nice Koi pond.
